I will be showing 'Helvetica' which is a great documentary all about the font (which is much more interesting and entertaining than it sounds - I promise). The movie is a "Who's Who" of contemporary graphic designers including Paula Scher, Stefan Sagmeister, Neville Brody and David Carson just to name a few. It also examines the role Helvetica has played in graphic design for decades.

This is just a fun night to get together with your fellow students. There will be food at 6:00 and time to socialize and the movie will start at 6:30. I will have light snacks but feel free to bring something to share if you want. If you are interested in coming, please shoot me an email at nnydesign@yahoo.com so I can get an idea of how many of you will be there. You can bring a friend - non-students welcome - no kids.
